Wedding Day Inspiration at The Four Seasons Hotel Chicago
Our hope is that every bride feels like a princess on their big day and that is exactly what this shoot is about. From the stunning dresses to the magnificent cake and everything in between, Chelsea with The Gilded Aisle Weddings, along with Four Seasons Chicago and our fabulous vendor team, brought these princess dreams to reality. The inspiration behind this shoot started by looking at the bride and what themes drive them when deciding their dress, venue, etc. The team took a handful of these themes and turned them into something much bigger.
Weddings at The Four Seasons Chicago
Four Seasons Chicago, which recently remodeled in 2021, couldn’t have been a more perfect setting for the shoot. The venue is breathtaking the minute you step off the elevators into the lobby with it’s stunning grand staircase. The rooftop views make for a perfect location for a first look or portraits. And we can’t forget about the Lakeview ballroom overlooking the lake providing us with the classiest shots. The Four Seasons’ extraordinary pastry chef, Juan Gutierrez, matched the theme with a towering, regal wedding cake with ornate features. The cake is topped with beautiful florals provided by Anthony Gowder Designs to match the sweetheart table and bouquet. Juan didn’t stop there, he also created the most perfect dessert table including various delicious desserts such as cake pops, donuts, and other sweet nibbles.
Wedding Photography and Cinema at The Four Seasons Hotel Chicago
The incredibly talented Andre LaCour of LaCour Images was the first to dive into the Four Seasons Chicago wedding collaboration and truly captured all the glorious details. From the elaborate dessert table to the monogramed napkin, Andre went above and beyond. The stunning video footage was taken by Lara with Old North Film Company who beautifully shot all aspects of the day. She brought out the joy in our princess bride while still highlighting the beauty in the venue and decor.
Wedding Day Florals Fit for Royalty
Anthony Gowder Designs brought the floral vision beyond expectations with a mix of blush, pinks, and purple florals mixed with bright greenery. The fabulous cascading bouquet provides a hint of blue florals to give it a little extra pop in color. The sweetheart table is one only seen in fairytales with florals overflowing from the top of the table onto the floor and surrounded by candles. Also on the sweetheart table is a detailed blue linen provided by BBJ Linen with garland like swirls in silver and gold. The Four Seasons’ classic table setting rest on the linen with a monogramed velvet napkin with an engraved silver napkin ring.
Bridal Beauty
Our fabulous beauty team did an outstanding job glamming up our princess bride. Elise Brill, owner of Leesi B., first gave our bride a glowing yet sophisticated look with a pop of lip color then transitioning into a softer tone. Nicci Loiacono, owner of Luxe Brides by Nicci, gave our bride a soft high messy up-do transitioning into a soft romantic bun.
Wedding Attire, Jewelry, and Accessories
Mira Couture, one of the best of the best in bridal fashion stores in Chicago, brought multiple timeless gowns to make our bride feel like a true princess. The first dress worn by our bride was a blush strapless ballgown by Otilia Brailoiu with corset detailing. For her second dress, our bride wore a more classic white ballgown by Netta Benshabu with lace detailing on the skirt and beading throughout the top.
James Ciccotti owner of James Ciccotti Bridal Shoes & Accessories, provided several pairs of stunning shoes for our bride to wear. Because what bride doesn’t love shoes? From classic white to demur lilac and a pop of spring green, our bride’s shoes complimented the colorful florals in her bouquet.
And what is a princess without her jewels? The jewelry so graciously provided by M.J. Miller Jewelers, truly made our bride sparkle. The bride first wore a few eye-popping pieces from their pink diamond collection to match her first blush dress. She then changed into stunning white diamonds where our bride was dripping in jewels.
Wedding Stationary
Nicole, the owner of Emery Ann Design, created the most elegant and classy invitation suites. She used thermography in silver on dusty blue paper with intricate designs surrounding the border. To match the invitations, Nicole also created a menu with savory dishes The Four Seasons provides to their wedding clients.
Signature Drink
Our signature cocktail built by Ross Hunt, the owner of UnMuddled Bartending, created a dainty vodka-based drink. The specialty drink has a hint of brew glitter to give it that extra sparkle.
