Our “Effortlessly Glamorous” themed bridal styled shoot which took place at one of Chicago’s newer wedding venues, the Sable Hotel at Navy Pier, features an alluring Hollywood red-carpet vibe with a sophisticated elegance.

Sable Hotel at Navy Pier is a unique hotel located on Chicago’s Navy Pier. The Great Lakes Ballroom inside Sable Hotel offers incredible views of the city skyline and Lake Michigan. The Ballroom can fit up to 175 people and can be divided to allow for multiple events. Sable Hotel also includes 223 guest rooms, perfect for out of town guests.

Andre LaCour of LaCour Images generated the most perfect shots making our bride look and feel like a true celebrity. Lara of Old North Film Company delivered stunning video footage that captured all the special details that elevated this shoot.

wedding attire, jewelry, and accessories

Our bride first wore a stunning Pronovias dress provided by Mira Couture, one of Chicago top bridal shops. Her dress had a high neck, sheer short sleeved top with beautiful detailing. Attached was a luxurious long fitted skirt with a middle slit to show off James Ciccotti’s jeweled pointed shoes. The second dress by Eisen Stein included a plunging neckline and full skirt of pearls and glitter. To top off the look, the bride had a round hand tied bouquet with red roses and jewels accents created by Anthony Gowder Designs.

Barbara Parker Fine Jewelry showered our bride with jewels. This included a 18kt white and yellow gold pave diamond bombe ring, diamond bangles, and a 18kt white diamond button ring. For the bride’s second look she was given stunning pearl earrings provided by Barbara Parker which complimented the pearl headband, pearl lined veil, and gown.

Ellie & Rose so graciously provided the stunning glass curved table with matching white and gold chairs. Anthony Gowder Designs added the beautiful white florals which included roses, hydrangeas, and snapdragons. They also provided stemmed glass candlesticks with floating candles and an abundance of smaller mercury gold votive candles.

The place settings provided by Tablescapes consisted of gold chargers with leaf like attributes completed by gold and white salad plates resting on top. Ellie & Rose finished the look with gold flatware. The delicious place cards designed by Garrett Popcorn gave a not to our Hollywood Glam theme and was a sweet treat for each guest!

Our fabulous beauty team gave our bride the VIP treatment. Elise Brill owner of Leesi B applied a layered frosted eye shadows to create a bright eye smokey look. She transitioned into a super smokey eye with a layered lash for the second look. Nicci Loiacono provided our bride with soft glam waves into a poufy ponytail with added accessories.

Mona, owner of Mona’s Sweet Spot, could not have created a more fitting cake for our glamorous photoshoot! She took our idea of pops of red and transformed it into beautiful rose petal detail surrounding the cake. This look fit fabulously into Sable Hotel’s unique wallpaper. Mona then took it a bit further by adding hints of gold around the petals. And best of all, it was delicious!

The breathtaking stationary was designed by Nicole Nechvatal at Emery Ann Design. Nicole used the goil foil technique to give the invitations beautiful script a little extra shine. It is complimented with a gold wax seal, red bow, and hints of red within the stamps.

specialty cocktail

To complete our shoot, Ross, from Unmuddled Bartending” created a sleek red specialty cocktail with a gin base and blood orange garnish. He finished it off with black salt around the rim.
